The Story

Pamela Barrett, owner of Pamela’s Plumbing, is

a native of Augusta and a 1998 Academy of Richmond County graduate. While many people have dreams, Pamela recognized that life is fleeting, and her journey reflects that belief. After her mother’s passing, she realized it was time to stop waiting and make those dreams real. Pamela and her husband John took that step together, opening Pamela’s Plumbing six years ago to serve the community they call home.

In 2018, while Pamela finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and John completed his Master’s in Plumbing—and while raising their three children—the couple launched Pamela’s Plumbing. Pamela has practiced and apprenticed plumbing for 13 years, while John has been in the trade his entire life. The husband-and-wife team share a passion for serving their community, and Pamela hopes one day to have a full crew of female plumbers working alongside her.
