The Story

Rooted in the mountain-town and seaside village charm that inspired its beginnings, Kit & Caboodles was created by owner Vivian Wheatley after she and her husband fell in love with the gift shops they visited on vacation. Seeing nothing quite like it locally, she set out to bring that same whimsical spirit home to the community she loved. Twenty-six years later, the shop remains a destination for gift purchases in an atmosphere that feels both entertaining and endearingly nostalgic.

Known for its friendly staff and an almost unmatched variety, Kit & Caboodles offers everything from scented candles and garden décor to flags and collegiate gear featuring many of the SEC and ACC teams followed in the CSRA. The shelves are full, the shop smells heavenly, and customers return enough to be on a first-name basis. In a small town where community feels like family, that consistency and variety, along with a sense of fun and discovery, has never changed.
