In downtown Augusta, Hang-Ups carries forward a framing legacy that spans more than four decades. Owner Jessica Howard first joined the shop in 2004 under founder Rhonda Graybeal’s mentorship, long before she imagined leading it herself. With a background in Culinary Arts and no framing experience at the time, Jessica learned the craft from the ground up, drawn in by both the precision and the personal nature of the work. When she took ownership, she continued the steady standard of quality that has defined the shop since 1980.
For Jessica, every project begins with a story. Family photographs, original artwork, jerseys and memorabilia all arrive with history attached. She approaches each piece with careful attention, guiding clients through options that respect both the item and their budget. Today, Hang-Ups serves residential and commercial customers, including local interior designers, and much of its business still comes through word of mouth — a reflection of trust built one frame at a time.
