The Story

For Rick Catts, Good Earth Produce & Garden Center represents a lifelong connection to fresh food. Long before opening his own market, Rick was selling fruits and vegetables roadside and working at a produce stand by age 12. He opened his first market in Aiken in 1995 and later brought that experience to Augusta in 2010, creating an indoor farmers market built on quality and consistency.

Freshness drives every decision. Rick hand-selects produce from farms across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida, checking items daily to ensure peak flavor and condition. Shoppers find seasonal fruits and vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, raw milk, jams, pickled goods, and baked treats, along with a garden center stocked with houseplants, fruit trees, shrubs, and flowers. As seasons change, so does the experience—from pumpkins in fall to Fraser firs and wreaths in winter—making Good Earth a year-round destination rooted in community.
