The Georgia Veterans Education Career
Transition Resource Center (VECTR) serves as
a gateway for veterans re-entering Georgia’s
public postsecondary educational systems and
workforce. Operated by the Technical College
System of Georgia (TCSG) through Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), VECTR supports
veterans and their families with career counseling, educational coaching, and workforce training.
VECTR offers specialized, accelerated programs in high-demand industries, recognizing veterans’
military training to streamline post-secondary certificate and degree attainment. In collaboration
with partners such as the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, Department of Labor, Veterans
Affairs, and United Way/Mission United, VECTR provides a comprehensive hub for veterans,
offering benefits, education, employment, entrepreneurship, and community connections.
The center’s new initiative includes a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) for AI-Enhanced
Robotic Manufacturing Specialists and is a groundbreaking program designed to put veterans
to work through innovative programming, aimed at expediting automation in manufacturing and
promoting diverse AI leadership. New initiatives are on the horizon to support military spouses,
too. Active duty military, veterans, and their families are encouraged to visit VECTR for help
transitioning from service to civilian life.
