Transition Resource Center (VECTR)
offers a gateway for veteran re-entry
into Georgia’s public postsecondary
educational systems and workforce.
Operated by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) via Central Georgia
Technical College (CGTC), VECTR supports veterans and their families through
career counseling, educational coaching, and workforce training.
VECTR offers specialized, accelerated programs in high-demand industries,
acknowledging veterans' military training to streamline post-secondary certificate
and degree attainment. Collaborating with partners like Georgia Department of
Veterans Service, Department of Labor, Veterans Affairs, and United Way/Mission
United, VECTR is a comprehensive hub for veterans, providing benefits, education,
employment, entrepreneurship, and community connections.
The center's upcoming initiative includes a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) for
AI-Enhanced Robotic Manufacturing Specialists, an innovative program aiming to
expedite automation adoption in manufacturing and promote diverse AI leadership.
Active duty military, veterans, and their families are encouraged to visit VECTR for
help transitioning from service to civilian life.
