Home to The Allman Brothers Band’s original members, their
families, and various friends from 1970 to 1973, The Big House
allows the unique opportunity to experience and tour the
18-room home of the rock-and-roll legends. Berry Oakley, his
wife Linda, their daughter, Berry Oakley’s sister Candy Oakley,
Duane Allman, his wife Donna, their daughter, and Gregg Allman
all called The Big House home. In fact, Dickey Betts wrote
“Blue Sky” in the living room and “Ramblin’ Man” in the kitchen.
Renovated by The Big House Foundation in 2009, the interactive
museum preserves the history of The Allman Brothers Band.
It contains the world’s largest collection of Allman Brother Band memorabilia, and the gift
