Where is the largest state sports museum? It’s right
here in Macon: the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
This 43,000 square foot museum houses over 3,000
artifacts that bring to life the rich sporting history of
Georgia. The museum invites visitors to experience this
history through their ever-changing exhibits, full theater,
kids’ interactive area, and more.
From the old-style ticket booth entrance to the brick
columns in the rotunda, the Museum makes a perfect
setting for birthday and holiday parties, business meetings, seminars, rehearsal
dinners, and movie nights.
In celebration of Black History Month 2024 and the 50th Anniversary of Hank
Aaron’s record-breaking 715th home run, The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame is
partnering with Macon Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Georgia Power to proudly
present the “Hank Aaron Home Run Celebration” exhibit. Stay tuned for details!
There is always something new to see at the museum, including eight new inductees
every year. Experience a slice of the Georgia sporting life. See you at the Georgia
Sports Hall of Fame!
