Ocmulgee Brewpub embodies a return to an era of community
when food was sourced naturally, Macon citizens were
explorers seeking new frontiers and, most importantly,
people enjoyed well-crafted fermented beverages! Ocmulgee
Brewpub marries the high-quality craft beers with a selection
of gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries and superfood salads.
Ocmulgee Brewpub even placed top in the 2018 and 2019
Macon Burger Week competitions. The Juliette Burger is topped
with bacon, pepper jack cheese, a fried green tomato and a balsamic
sweet onion remoulade. The Eat A Peach Burger is topped with peach pico
de gallo, smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese and a creamy basil aioli. Novel AND delicious!
For their hand-crafted brews, owners, Nate and Kaitlynn Kressin, select only the finest
grains, hops and yeast mixed with Macon’s fresh water—voted best tasting in the country
in a taste test conducted by the American Water Works Association—to craft their brews.
Customers can view the fermenting and conditioning process, and they can engage with
brewers to learn about the process. The Ocmulgee name has been associated with some of
Macon’s deepest historical and ecological fabric. Ocmulgee Brewpub keeps with tradition
by creating hand-crafted brews and hearty burgers from scratch.
