After Nabeel Mansour and his brother, Samir, moved to the U.S. in 1988, they longed for the authentic flavors of home. With no Middle Eastern restaurants in Bakersfield, they often drove two hours to Los Angeles just to satisfy their cravings. Seeing the need for fresh Mediterranean cuisine locally, they opened Flame & Skewers in 2006.
What started as one location has grown into a beloved, family-owned establishment with five locations, all managed by their sister, Rehab.
