The “Fred Sanford” of Augusta… At Mema Had One,
you’ll find 4,200 sq. ft., three floors and yards full of
vintage collectibles, used furniture, retro decor, rusty
gold and archi-salvage at affordable prices! With the
help of 20+ dealers, Mema Had One prides itself on
offering the unique and obscure... the casual and fun. Their mantra is “peace, love and
junk.” Mema Had One embraces the integrity and quality of the past, while also honoring
its simple, and sometimes primitive, ways.
What’s in a name? “Mema” was the term of endearment for co-owner, Pam Hayes’ grandmother. The next time you’re strolling around the shop and spot an interesting old object, chances are, your Mema had one too! Pam started collecting at age 14 and after 20 years had a collection big enough to open a store! The other co-owner, Candice Lee, and her mama run the day-to-day operations of the store.
2021 marks 10 years the store has been open in the Augusta area. Pam and Candice are grateful to the community for their support and look forward to seeing you in the store!
