Fleet Feet is the area’s only locally owned specialty running store with locations in both Augusta and North Augusta. Store owners, Jenafer and Michael McCauley are dedicated runners who want to spread their passion for fitness throughout the area while caring for their customers’ most essential needs.
Using advanced tech systems, the Fleet Feet staff is trained to fit people for the correct shoe type and support based on the runner’s needs. Their customers aren’t just runners—many are referred to the store by podiatrists, physicians, and physical therapists for shoes that accommodate and address myriad foot injuries and issues.
Along with providing an amazing buying experience, the store also brings a lot to the Augusta and North Augusta communities with running groups and meetups. Fleet Feet offers training programs for those new and old to the sports of running and walking, and it organizes weekly and monthly free run events, partnering with local businesses to host runs. Fleet Feet also sponsors many of the local races and directs two races of their own: the annual The Big Run 5K and the Palmetto Peach Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K.
