For over 30 years, Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity has been transforming lives by providing affordable homeownership opportunities in Columbia and Richmond Counties. Through volunteer efforts, community partnerships, and generous donations, Habitat helps families achieve the stability and self-reliance that comes with having a safe, affordable home.
A key part of their mission is the Habitat ReStore, a nonprofit home improvement store where you can find discounted furniture, home goods, clothing, and building materials, with proceeds directly funding their mission in our community. With weekly sales every Thursday and Friday, it’s a great place to shop, save, and support a worthy cause. Donations are always welcome—drop off items behind the store or schedule a pickup for larger donations online.
Habitat also provides opportunities for volunteers to get involved, whether by helping on a construction site, assisting at the ReStore, or supporting fundraising events. One exciting event is the Build the Band competition, a unique musical showdown at the Miller Theater that raises awareness and funds for Habitat’s mission.
By shopping, donating, or volunteering, you can play a vital role in building homes, hope, and a stronger community.
