Courtney Currie has always loved the vintage
charm and craftsmanship of old homes. When
1020 Reynolds St. hit the market in 2020, she
made an appointment to see it and fell in love.
Her vision was to bring this beautiful historic
home back to life and give it a new purpose.
This spontaneous decision has worked out well for this local gal. With her degree in
marketing, event planning experience and Grateful Dead playing in the background,
1020 Reynolds has become Sugar Magnolias—a gathering place where people can
celebrate.
Sugar Magnolias offers both indoor and outdoor event space. They provide the tables
and chairs and have a variety of rental items—dishes, linens, speakers, decor, etc.—
available to give your event the perfect finishing touches. While photo shoots are the
most popular event held here, Sugar Magnolias is also perfect for weddings, bridal
parties, baby showers, birthdays, art showcases… pretty much anything you can think
