Pamela Barrett, proud owner of Pamela’s Plumbing, is a native of Augusta and a 1998 Academy of Richmond County graduate. While many people harbor dreams and aspirations, Pamela recognizes that life is fleeting, and her journey serves as an inspiring reminder of this. It was shortly after her mother’s passing that Pamela realized she needed to stop having dreams and make them a reality. Pamela and her husband John took the decisive step to bring their dream to life by opening Pamela’s Plumbing six years ago.
So in 2018, while finishing up her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and John finishing his Master’s in Plumbing—and while raising their 3 children—Pamela and John started Pamela’s Plumbing. Pamela has been practicing and apprenticing plumbing for 13 years, while John has been in plumbing his whole life. The dynamic husband-wife duo wanted to both be a part of each other’s dream coming true. They love what they do and love being in the community. Pamela’s hope is to one day have a full crew of female plumbers in the field alongside her!
