Augusta University College of Nursing has a
76-year rich history dedicated to serving our
local community and beyond. The College
prepares new nurses in our BSN and MSN/CNL
programs as well as educates those seeking advanced degrees in our Doctor of Nursing
Practice (DNP) and PhD programs. Students have opportunities to care for patients from
the CSRA through rotations in the College’s Nurse-Managed Health Center.
The Nurse-Managed Health Center offers community-based healthcare services delivered by Nurse Practitioners in collaboration with physicians providing convenient primary and specialty care. Patients can access same-day and evening appointments, telehealth services, chronic care management, annual wellness exams, sports physicals, and more. The Nurse Practitioner led clinic offers cohesive and seamless integration with services and specialists at AU Health.
Patients visiting the clinic on St. Sebastian Way can take advantage of the dedicated “frontdoor” parking. The clinic accepts walk-in appointments and their flexible insurance and payment options include Medicare, Medicaid, Augusta University Health System’s (UMR) insurance, many other commercial insurances as well as credit cards, checks, and cash.
