In her past life, Augusta native Ann Beth was a
teacher by day and a dabbling thespian by night,
soaking up her tiny portion of the spotlight playing
a cynical attorney, a drunken mom, an inferior
trollop, a successful hairdresser, and a failed sextherapist. Her latest stint was playing a straight
(wo)man in Scrodinger’s Cat Improv Troupe.
Off-stage Ann Beth loves to cook, rescue dogs, and travel. She has been blogging (read journaling) about the foods of the world since the Pre-Internet Era. Her insatiable passion for good food and good adult bevvies is a force to be reckoned with, a trait instilled in her by her father.
As of late you can find Ann Beth perusing art galleries, drinking Champagne in a tub of bubbles, or bossing her Uber driver from the backseat. She loves to shine a bright light on all things good in Augusta, and through her writing she invites you to join her on her #eatdrinkbemerryrepeat mission around our River Region.
