Augusta is a thriving arts destination with a flourishing
collection of outstanding public art. The newest
attraction is the Augusta Sculpture Trail, a free public
art exhibition that features 10 original sculptures by
national artists. The sculptures are on display in the
heart of downtown Augusta near our vibrant Riverwalk, restaurants, and businesses
through January 2023. The easy to walk trail is the perfect social-distance activity
for families, groups, visitors, and of course, locals. The Greater Augusta Arts Council’s
Walking Tour apps and monthly Sculpture Trail activities make the Augusta Sculpture
Trail a fun cultural destination for people of all ages.
Augusta’s Arts include concerts, galleries, theater, open mics, museums, festivals, and all kinds of night life. The public art includes new downtown building murals, like the James Brown Mural on 9th Street, painted traffic boxes, and of course, sculptures.
