Megan Vesnesky and her husband Joe recently took over
The Meadows Frozen Custard and Italian Ice and are
eager to give back to the community. Both Megan and Joe
are originally from Pennsylvania—where The Meadows
originated—so they always knew it was a special frozen treat.
When they first learned of The Meadows in Grovetown they
were ecstatic, and now, to have the opportunity to take part
in providing these special frozen treats to the community is
a dream come true for them. A confectioner at heart, Megan
is always in the shop trying out new custard creations like waffle-chip and custard
nachos, and strawberry-butter flavored custard. At The Meadows, you can check
out two new flavors daily as well as a wide range of other frozen treats including
10+ flavors of Italian Ice, milkshakes, sundaes, swirls, and custard pies.
The difference in The Meadows is the sourcing, recipe, and production. It starts
with the freshest products from Galliker’s Dairy in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
The custard recipe has remained unchanged since 1950 and includes cream, milk,
sugar, and egg yolk. After that, it is churned fresh at their Grovetown location every
day. The Meadows also caters, so save the work and let them provide the dessert
