The restaurant, Noble Jones, is understated, elegant,
welcoming and very Southern. At its helm is J.D. Wier,
who brings his culinary vision to life by providing a vibrant
menu of seasonal dishes. The name of the restaurant is
a nod to an English carpenter from Herefordshire who
resided in Georgia, commanded Georgia’s Northern
Company of Marines, became a Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives and
eventually played a leading role during the Revolutionary War.
The menu reflects J.D.’s travel experiences throughout the Southeast. Therefore, local palates will be particularly thrilled with many of his recipes, including his Catfish Po’ boy, Fried Pickled Okra, Robust Brisket or Smoked Fried Chicken. J.D. is excited about adding a high-end, retail wine store into the mix. Diners will be able to purchase bottles to drink in the restaurant or to take home. And new in 2021, weekend brunch will be served!
Whether sitting outside on the charming patio or enjoying the quaint ambiance of the brick-walled interior, diners will fall for the classic decor, friendly service, quality drinks and delicious dishes at Noble Jones.
