When my tastebuds demand the comfort + complexity of shawarma spice--the blend of garlic, chilis, cumin, turmeric, pepper--I am ecstatic to know we have Laziza Mediterranean Grill in Evans and in Augusta.
You have probably gawked at me diving face first into their chicken shawarma platter. It features chicken that has marinated just long enough to soak up all that spicy goodness and is then roasted on a rotisserie until it achieves a beautifully burnished texture. Then it is shaved thin and served with sides such as rice, hummus, a pillowy pita + a Greek salad. (Wipe that drool from your chin, you filthy animal--and I'll do the same.)
The menu is broad + offers a variety of proteins + meatless options. Both restaurants host indoor + al fresco dining. Take your mouth on a trip to the Mediterranean by visiting either location today.
