The Story

Augusta University provides life-changing education within a vibrant academic community while remaining closely connected to the region it serves. Many campus experiences are open to the public, inviting neighbors and visitors to take part in university life. Athletic competitions take place throughout the year, including basketball, golf, volleyball, baseball, softball and tennis. The historic Guard House Museum also welcomes guests interested in exploring Augusta’s past.

Golfers can play AU’s award-winning home course, Forest Hills Golf Club, home of the three-time NCAA National Champion Augusta Jaguars. The Art & Design department hosts the Cinema Series, art exhibitions and lectures exploring the visual arts, while the Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Center features university and community productions throughout the year. Events like Brew-n-Que and the Lighting of the Tree bring families together and reflect AU’s ongoing connection to the CSRA community.
