The Story

Tucked beneath the pines of Northeast Florida, Jaybird Hammock Farm offers a quiet place to slow down and reconnect. Owned by fourth generation locals Jay and Tina Jenkins, the land has been in their family for over a century—an enduring piece of old Florida now shared with the community. What began as a personal refuge opened to the public in 2023, inviting guests to experience nature in a more intentional way. Spend time with free ranging goats, donkeys, and a mini mule, or unwind in a hammock beneath the trees. From goat yoga and guided nature walks to sound bath meditations and paddleboard sessions on the pond, each experience is designed to restore and reconnect. With offerings for both adults and children, including educational programs through Wild Oaks Explorers and private gatherings, Jaybird Hammock Farm is more than a destination—it’s a place to breathe, reset, and return to what matters.
