When New York couple Scott and Trish Cline
stumbled upon a restaurant for sale during
their visit to Fernandina Beach’s famous Shrimp
Festival, there was no doubt it was a sign and they
jumped at the opportunity to become a part of
the amazing Ameilia Island Community. With over
35 years of experience in the food and beverage
industry ranging from busboy to supplier, Scott is
no stranger to the culinary arts.
The Patio at 5th and Ash has gained tremendous support since Scott and Trish took over
in September of 2022. With a menu featuring Northern flare and live entertainment four
nights a week, it's easy to understand why The Patio is a must while exploring Fernandina
Beach. A few of the crowd favorites include the house-made sangria and bourbon style
bloody mary along with their slow-braised short rib french dip with a red wine demi-glaze,
famous meatballs and a constantly rotating dessert menu to die for. They are particularly
known for the inviting patio space which is pet friendly and allows you to take in everything
you love about the Florida beaches. The Patio at 5th and Ash is open for lunch and dinner
along with Sunday Brunch from 10AM-3PM featuring all the classic brunch must-haves.
